My Horror Toy Pick Of The Week—Day (Trick ‘R Treat)

I’m keeping the Michael Dougherty /Trick ‘R Treat theme going here with this cool little Sam figure from Neca. These figures have been hard enough to keep around for the past 2 years and now that Trick ‘R Treat is finally out, well you see the trend happening here! SOLD OUT! I think we’ll be seeing more of Sam showing up, don’t worry! Check out Sam over at EntertainmentEarth.

Want a bite? Sam is the perfect addition to your family of horror action figures. He comes from the Trick ‘r Treat anthology movie. The one thing that all of the stories in the film have in common is Sam, a trick-or-treater with some basic rules for Halloween, and definite consequences for those who break them! Still want that bite? This surprisingly detailed figure stands 5-inches tall and includes a themed base of jack o’ lanterns.

only problem, and like my major beef with many current "Action Figures" (I'm looking at you mcfarlane), they are pretty, and nice looking, but in the end they are really just small affordable pre-maid models. I like a pretty looking figure as much as the next toy collector, but I also want possibility. I don't want an "Action" figure be stuck in a static position. I can forgive not being accurate down to the button, as long as there us some articulation involved. The joy of having an articulated action figures is to pose them in all the silly positions and scenarios you can imagine, with the rest of your collection, otherwise, it's up on a shelf, collecting dust.

I'd just want his mask to come off. I thought that Sam was cooler looking without the mask
