For those of you that have been eagerly awaiting the new Guy Ritchie directed Sherlock Holmes film, here is a new poster for the film that features Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law as Holmes and Watson.

The story is set in 1891, and this portrayal of Sherlock Holmes and his partner Watson is unlike any Sherlock Holmes story we have seen before. Revealing fighting skills as lethal as his legendary intellect, Holmes will battle as never before to bring down his new nemesis, evil cult leader Lord Blackwood, and unravel a deadly plot that could destroy the country.

I really hope this movie is good. Ritchie hasn’t impressed me since Snatch, but the trailer for Sherlock Holmes looks promising. Are you excited for the movie? Hope you enjoy the new poster below!

I am really looking forward to the new Sherlock Holmes movie, and can’t wait to see Jude Law acting in it! I see he is currently featured in an online game they have made to tie in with the movie:
