Sci-Fi’s Sexy Scientists Ranked by Hotness/Plausibility
Scifiwire developed a cool little chart that ranks sexy scientists by their hotness and plausibility.
Ever find yourself watching a movie or TV show featuring a beautiful female scientist character only to think, “She’s no scientist”? Us too! Only once we thought about it further, we realized that some of those scientists were hot and plausible, some were neither, and most fell somewhere in between.
Check out the chart below! Click to enlarge. I think they pretty much nailed it. Check it out and tell us what you think!

How did Rachel Weisz end up on the 'not hot' side???
I have to agree… This would make it an automatic fail if not for having Gillian Anderson in the up most right corner.
she on the hot side she got an 8 but she not plausible she got a 3.
Where's Natalie Portman on this list? She's higher than Jillian for sure. =D
What i want to know is how did Amy Acker get both hot and plausible and not hot and plausible for playing the same character in Dollhouse!? Because she was still hot even with the scars. That and I would put Gillian Anderson way lower on the hotness scale. I call shenanigans on this whole thing.
I agree with Monkey Cheese about Amy Acker. Also, Amy should be on the list a third time as 'Fred' from Angel.
yeah i was gonna mention her as Fred as well, except Angel isn't really a sci-fi show so i decided not to.
for sure! Rachel Weisz should be in the hot and plausible! she fit the role perfect!
