TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE To Get a 3D Reboot

It looks like Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes production company and New Line is done with Leatherface, because Twisted Pictures has swooped in to take of the the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise off their hands. This is the same production company that producers the SAW movies.
As of right now the producer and financier is in talks with Lionsgate to partner in the films. What they want to do is contemporize the storyline for a 3D film which will be written by Stephen Susco who wrote The Grudge.
I was not a big fan of Platinum Dunes versions of the Chainsaw Massacre they looked nice, but lacked substance. Bringing the film to the 3D realm really doesn’t get me excited either, since most 3D horror films also lack substance but now the blood and guts are flying at your face. I understand that these 3D horror films are making a lot of money, and as long as the make them there is a huge market out there that will pay the money to watch them. Which is cool as long as they are entertained. But, rebooting Leatherface again? I don’t see the point. None of these remakes will top the madness, spirit, and grittiness that the original had.
What are your thoughts on a Texas Cahinsaw Massacre 3D film?

SUX….
NOBODY has made a good 3-D horror film YET! It would be nice if this was the first, but I'm not real thrilled about who is writing it. If Twisted Pictures is making it, why not use Alexandre Aja as writer/director. This guy KNOWS how to make horror films!!!! Also they should call this "Chainsaw 3-D" (a title my good friend Mad Ron came up with over a decade ago).
Oooops! MY mistake!!! There IS one good 3-D horror film. I completely forgot about "House Of Wax" from 1953.!
