Third ASSASSIN’S CREED game takes us World War II as Female Assassin?

As you know, Assassin’s Creed 2 is coming out next month, and it’s only natural to assume that there is going to eventually be a third Assassins Creed game. Turns out the creative team over at Ubisoft has already thought of the direction that the next game will take. According to producer Sebastien Puel, Assassins Creed 3 will take place in World War II and you will be playing a female assassin this time around. Puel recently told Xbox World 360 magazine:
We’ve had discussions on [the topic of a female assassin]. It could be really interesting but we’d need to find the right time period and place for that.
Where would that make sense? We don’t want to just decide we want to change and have a female hero as the first inspiration is always the time period, but if you’re talking about, say, World War II the economies in England and France were run by women because the men were off fighting.
So maybe in this context you were a woman in England during WWII. Why not? Nothing prevents us from doing it. I’m often asked if we’re doing a third game after ACII.. I mean, we could do 35 of these.
Keep in mind this is very early in the stages of development, and things can easily change. For example part 2 was originally supposed to take place in the French Revolution, that didn’t end up happening. In the end we can only hope that the third game is going to be as stellar as the first two. In the meantime we can look forward to the release of Assassins Creed 2 on November 17.

While I would love to have a female assassin in the AC mix, there's already a femme fetale in WWII takin' out the crouts, Velvet Assassin. Though, considering that this is Assassin's Creed, they could definitely play off of the urban legends surrounding Hitler's men in search for occult artifacts and what-not. And let's not forget the Thule Society.
well it would be really wierd if she was wearing a white robe with a hood so i think there will be a dramatic costume change if this plays out.
