2012/Raising Arizona Trailer Mash-Up makes 2012 look so much Better!
Music is a powerful story telling tool when it comes to movies. It sets the tone and mood of what is being shown to us on screen. It’s amazing how much music can change the look and feel of a film. If you’ve seen the trailer and film clips for the movie 2012, then you know how serious Roland Emmerich is trying to make this movie, even though it’s hard to take seriously because of how ridiculous it looks.
Then someone comes around takes out Roland Emmerich’s music and puts in a song that is so much more appropriate for the film’s setting, and makes the movie look so much better. They added the theme song from the classic comedy Raising Arizona to this 2012 film clip, and finally we see what this movie is actually is… a fun dark comedy that I actually would be more excited to see.
Check out the clip below and tell us what you think!

Sorry but not even the Raising Arizona theme song can make this movie look good. I see this movie being just as bad if not worse than The Day After Tomorrow.
That was excellent! I laughed most of the way through, it does make 2012 look preposterous and more like a spoof of disaster films than anything else.
It's hard to believe that the John Cusack who did Grosse Point Blank would make this. As my dad said about Richard Chamberlain in King Solomon's Mines, he must have really needed the money.
Ha Ha! That was great. It actually looks like a better movie with that soundtrack attached. The expression on their faces matched up perfectly with the music. I get it now. 2012 is a comedy. A goofy, absurd romp. Maybe I'll go see it with an ipod mix of this and similar music I can listen to, while the world ends onscreen.
that's amazing! so much more appropriate! Having never seen Raising Arizona and currently studying classical cello, I found the fact that it boiled down into a banjo version of ode to joy as they're flying away is really really funny.
Where can I find wipers that work that well?
Where can I find a limo that drives that well?
The only way I could watch and enjoy 2012.
