AVATAR Behind the Scenes Featurette: James Cameron’s Vision

Avatar

Here we have a great new behind the scenes video for James Cameron’s Avatar. If the last trailer for the film didn’t get you excited to see his next movie, I don’t know what will. This movie looks awesome! We’re all geeks here! The guy made The Abyss, Terminator 1 & 2, Aliens, and Titanic. Do you really think he’s really going to let us down on this one?

This new featurette has an interview with the cast and crew of the film. They talk about Cameron bringing this vision to life. It is also mixed with some footage from the movie, a decent amount of great footage you’ve never seen before. So that’s a plus. It even fills you in on a little more of the story details that we didn’t know. Like how Jake’s character is taking his brothers place on a mission.

Avatar is the story of an ex-Marine on the planet Pandora who, as an Avatar – a human mind in an alien body – finds himself in a desperate fight for his survival and that of the indigenous beings called the Na’vi.

Looks great. Have seen the 15 minute teaser in Imax 3D and Avatar truly appears to be the most advanced film both for its state of the art stereoscopic images and stunning visual effects
