Check Out Joss Whedon’s ASTONISHING X-MEN Motion Comic

astonishing_x-men

The popular Joss Whedon and John Cassaday graphic novel, Astonishing X-Men, was just launched on Hulu as a motion comic that was created by comic artist, Neal Adams. Marvel is hoping that these motion comics will catch on and change the way we read our comic books. Adams had this to say,

At this point in the history of motion comics, Gifted is the very best motion comic book out there. There will be some in the future that will be as good if not better, but right now it’s the best one.

I agree with him, I’ve seen a few different motion comics and this one is actually the best one that I’ve seen. Adams also had this to say about about Whedon,

I guess there may be a better script writer out there. But is there someone more used to the form of both comic books and film? I don’t think there is.

Check out the comic below and tell us what you think.

Marvel Motion comics are much better than DC, Watchmen Motion Comic was hard to watch, One guy playing all the voices doesn't cut it. it's 2009 not 1972.

I don't think this will change the way we read comics, it's more enjoyable to just read them on paper. Motion comics are just flat out awkward and ugly. I think they're kind of a worthless endeavor that will never really catch on because the style is very unappealing.

Personally I think this is one of the worst motion comics I've ever seen. The more they try to make it look animated the more awkward it looks.
