Here we have our first look at Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, and Wentworth Miller on the set of their new film, Resident Evil: Afterlife, which I have to admit I’m a little excited for. I know the Resident Evil films aren’t the best movies, but I’ve had fun watching them. If Afterlife is just as fun as the first three films then it should be cool.
The film is currently shooting in Toronto, Canada. It’s being shot in 3D and Screen Gems is going to release it next August.
I also think this is a good time to tell you that Milla Jovovich is furiously twittering from the set! If you go follow her twitter page you will be getting tons of news updates straight from the set of the film. One of her most recent Tweets:

These movies are awful. They've ruined the franchise for the big screen. Please, just stop making them.
I like the movies,if they sucked they would quit making them! They make money!! If you want to hate a freakin video game movie watch one of Uwe Boll's The poor guy does try though!
Just because a movie makes money, doesn't mean its good. Fanboys will buy some of the most atrociously bad merchandise, just because it supports the franchise and show people want the merchandise. On top of that, there are people that just buy action flicks to buy action flicks.
Popularity does not equal quality. Most obvious example would be Revenge of the Fallen. Its mighty popular, but it ain't that good.
The first movie was good, second a little less… and third movie was aweful. I mean… zombies playing with colored blocks? Then becoming Super Zombies? What next?
Joe has never seen the most important zombie series ever, clearly. The idea of Zombies learning came from Romero.

Who cares, this has nothing to do with resident evil, the movies were ok as movies but that is it. get a good cast a good director and base the movie on the first game.
