I Love it when People Tell Me How I need to Write for and Run my Blog

I always find it entertaining when someone chimes in and tells me how to run this Blog that isn't involved with it at all. People come in and tell me how I show be writing up my articles telling me that they aren't composed properly, that I don't do write like the other blogs, that my writing isn't up to their standards.

Look if I wrote in the style of every other blog out there then this blog would be just the same as everyone else's. This is just how I do it, it's who I am. You see my personality in my writing. I don't want to write like everyone else. This is what I want in my blog... actual personality. 

What does it matter to those people that criticize me or any of our other authors how we write anyway? They don't have to read our stuff if they don't want to, I'm not forcing them! So what reason do they have to put us down? Perhaps they're some disgruntled blogger trying to bring us down to make themselves look better?

I'm open to constructive criticism I welcome it with open arms! But when it's destructive criticism meant to hurt feelings and bring down peoples self-esteem that is not okay.

I don't get paid to write for this blog yet, It's a hobby that I work my ass off on. I have a full time job and a family to support, so of course it bothers me when people come into my house to try and tear me down. But I deal with it as respectfully as I can. I don't go back and try to tear those people down. I wont stoop to their level of intellect.

Just recently I tried to respond back nicely to someone's mean spirited criticism, and I was told that the way I responded was sign of weakness. So was this person looking for a fight? It sure seemed seemed like it! Its a fight I won't give them though. I don't have the time! I've got way too much other stuff going on in my life to let it bother me. So this is my ultimate response to any of those people that don't like the way we write, now I don't have to deal with it any more. Love it, hate it, deal with it.
