'American Pie 4' back to the big screen?

Well this is a bit surprising! As you know ‘American Pie’ had 3 films that hit theaters, then Universal started making those direct to DVD movies which were just awful in every way.

Well, moviehole is reporting that Universal Pictures is going to abandon the direct to DVD spin off films, and are going to make another sequel to the last theatrical ‘American Wedding’. I assume that this fourth movie will pick up with Jim and Michelle living the married life with kids, maybe even going back to their 10 year high school reunion, because that would be the perfect set up to get everyone back together again. It would be great if they were able to bring the whole gang back together.

I hope they can pull this off and pull it off well because it would be fun to see what the characters are up these days. What do you think?
