Is Nolan officially Back for Batman 3

The internet is abuzz about Christopher Nolan being officially back on Batman 3 even though the last we heard he was on holiday relaxing. Now Production Weekly has said  that Batman 3 is going into pre-production early next year with Christopher Nolan as director, Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Gary Oldman.

Production Weekly is not known for giving out false information so this could very well be true. At the same time nothing has been announced officially that any of the people mentioned above have signed onto another film. I even recall the president of Warner Bros. saying they are still waiting to hear from Nolan and what his idea is for a third film before they move forward.

I'm not quite sure what is going on here but it should be very interesting to see how this turns out. I personally think that Nolan will come back and do a third movie, I just wish I knew what he has planned for it.
