Marvel Introduces its new series "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes"

Muahaha.... more Avengers news. I love it.

Marvel has announced the upcoming release of a new animated series; "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heros", to be released in 2011. The series is at the hands of 'The Simpsons' production company Film Roman, led by producer Ciro Nieli who has credits under his belt such as "Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!" and "Teen Titans." The release will be, of course, just in time to join its live action counterparts; "The First Avenger: Captain America" and "The Avengers."

As we all know, marvel has been meticulously constructing, and will continue to construct a pathway leading right into the lap of these upcoming films.  THR.com quotes exec producer and president of Marvel Animation as saying this:

"(This) continues our plan to complement each of our tentpole live-action features with an animated series, this new ensemble series tracks perfectly with our 'Road to the Avengers' strategy."
