Frank Darabont gets Foxx and Butler to be Law Abiding Citizens

Well we now know what Frank Darabont's next film will be and who it will star. The director of 'The Shawshank Redemption', 'The Green Mile', and 'The Mist', is get prepped for his next project. The film is a psychological thriller called 'Law Abiding Citizen' and it will star Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler. THR reports:

Written by Kurt Wimmer and Darabont, the script follows a successful assistant D.A. (Foxx) who finds himself at the center of a vigilante plot hatched by a traumatized victim of the legal system (Butler). Butler's character is devastated to learn that, because of a plea bargain, one of his wife and daughter's murderers will be set free. So he unleashes revenge on the killers and those who made the deal.

Frank Darabont is a fantastic director and this is his first time going into take on this kind of genre. It will be very interesting to see what he does with it. I am a big fan psychological thrillers and this movie has got some some great talent involved. It should end up being a great film.
