We have an update on that new TR2N movie that Disney is making. This info comes from Production Weekly which has had a few misses on their intel but the majority of the info they get is correct. I am not a big fan of this new tiotle for the film. We go from the already bad TR2N to TRZ. I'm not quite sure what they are getting at. Are they trying to be hip and trendy? Whats wrong with Tron 2.0? We can only hope that this TRZ is just a ghost production name they are using to stear people away. Who knows but I don't like it.
Now here is a short Plot summary of the new TRZ movie:
"After being transported into the surreal landscape of a mainframe computer to destroy an intruder, a programmer finds himself allied with the leader of a rebellion against a corrupt cyber-entity."
It's not much to go off of but it seems to follow what we saw at Comic-Con this year. If you missed it it it was realy test footage that featured Jeff Bridges back as the programmer Flynn. It looked like he possibly joined the dark side of the program, because he really jacked up that other guy he was racing. If this new plot is true, it would mean that Flynn has teamed up with a new programmer to defend the system from his former friend Tron. At least thats what it sounds like to me.
What do you all think?
