TR2N casts its Leading Lady

Olivia Wilde is the lucky lady cast as that female lead. Variety reports:

Few details are known of the character the actress will play in the pic, titled "TR2N," to be helmed by commercial helmer Joseph Kosinski.

But Jeff Bridges will return in the role he played in the 1982 original, about a hacker who is abducted into the world of a computer and forced to participate in a series of gladiatorial games.

Wilde currently stars in the Fox hit TV show 'House'. Beau Garrett has also been cast.

I can't wait for this film. The TR2N footage showed at Comic-Con was the highlight of the convention for me. Things are moving forward and this movie is coming together. The only thing I don't like so far is the title. I think this is one of the most exciting and anticipated sequels, and we have such a long time to wait.
