Rob Zombie Returning for Halloween 2?

Good greif I hope not. Lets just not make this movie, the world would be a better place without it. I thought the first Rob Zombie Halloween remake was utter trash. He took the evil right out of Michael Meyers by making him a fun loving white trash hick with a face. Apparently in the next day or two Trancas International is going to release a press statement confirming that Rob Zombie will be officially directing a second Halloween 2.

We know that this film has been in the works for awhile and it was attached to French directors Julien Maury and Alexandre Busillo who recently left the project, hopefully because they just have better taste in movies. It was during this window of opportunity that we are told Zombie came in and seized it.

So where does this leave Zombies Tyrannosaurus Rex movie? It sounds like it has been put on hold for now, because Halloween 2 is going to start shooting in March. Thanks to STYD for the heads up on this terrible news.

Personally if you want to see a classic good horror movie stick with the original.
