Katherine Heigl escapes from Polygamy

It was only a matter of time before a movie about polygamy was going to get made with all of the press it has been getting lately. Katherine Heigl who was actually raised a Mormon which is not affiliated with the FLDS polygamist group will Produce and Star in a film based on the bestselling book ‘Escape' which is the memoir of Carolyn Jessop. She is one of the women who testified against the polygamist sect leader Warren Jeffs. Variety reports:

Relevant Entertainment and Como Court Prods. acquired the book. Michael Menchel and Cat Williams will produce with Heigl and her Abishag partner Nancy Heigl.
Jessop was born into the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints sect. At 18 she married a man 32 years her senior; at 35, she fled with her eight children.

It'll be interesting. Do you think she is going for that Oscar Nom?

Yet Another attempt at a Three Musketeers movie

This time it is an Origin film about how the 3 Musketeers banded together. Origin films are big with comic book movies these days but with the Musketeers. I don't know. Guess we'll see how it all plays out. Here is what Variety says:

New pic will trace how swordsmen Athos, Porthos and Aramis first banded together.
D'Artagnan, the last member of the eventual quartet, will either be introduced later in the first movie or in a second installment. Dumas novel is in the public domain.

So it's a Trilogy! Good for them. I hope it works out.

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins trailer might be shown with ‘The Dark Knight movie!

t4teaser

I am sure it will be a lame ass teaser trailer that starts out with the signature Terminator music and a Terminator Robot face fading in from black or maybe fire, with possibly a voice over from one of the characters talking about the future. Maybe I'll be surprised and it will be totally kick ass!

Fanboys movie will be released with Cancer Plot!

I reported earlier that the Weinsteins brought back the director of the film Kyle Newman to re-cut the Fan boys film. Rumors are floating around the net that the final cut will have the cancer plot. I am happy to hear this. You can read my review of the movie HERE.
