Breaking! 'Inglorious Bastards' set with Universal

Venkman here and according to Variety Quentin Tarantino's 'Inglorious Bastards' flick has a Home at Universal Pictures! So the wheels are in motion! As you know by now, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio are in talks to star in the film.  Here is what Variety has to say:
Studio has inked a deal to partner with the Weinstein Co. to bring the World War II drama to the big screen.

The "Pulp Fiction" helmer and Harvey Weinstein met with five studios last week, and it came down to Paramount and Universal.

Tarantino has met with Brad Pitt to play the role of Aldo Raine and Leonardo DiCaprio to portray Nazi Hans Landa.

Shooting is scheduled to begin in the fall in Germany and France.

So I guess Paramount lost the game. So there ya have it folks! This movie is being made with universal and its going to be amazing.

The Americans will never see this, so I don't know who will. It has no appeal, interest or connection to them. It was an unbankable money-loser investment from the beginning and shouldn't have been made from the start. Just plain dumb junk. Hollywood is such dead junk.
