Rumor Alert! Angelina Jolie in tight black spandex!

I'm sure that got some peoples attention.  Well, I promise that you won't be disappointed.  

The original Catwoman, Julie Newmar, was quoted in the New York Daily post (and brought to us by comicbookmovie.com) as saying:

"Angelina would own the part. My industry friends tell me (she) has made inquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman's one true love. She's tremendously popular with women because she's both a heroine and a villainess."

I don't know about you guys, but to me that sounds like an excellent idea.  Not only would she make one of the hottest Catwomen, but I think that she had a dark enough side to her to really bring out the anger in this role.  Plus, I fully trust in Chris Nolan's eye for talent, and for who would be a perfect fit to the puzzle we all know as Gotham City.  

Remember that this is just rumor.  Julie Newmar is in no way an authority in Hollywood, and I am not too sure how reliable her inside sources are.  I just love this rumor.  I think that if enough of us surfers of the net would get behind this, then there might be a shot of this happening.  

One major thing that I learned from Comic-Con is that the directors who really care for their projects will listen to what the fans have to say.  We are what make these movies so popular.  We are the ones who will make or break a comic-book movie.  We have a voice here people, let's let it be heard.
