Guillermo del Toro will not be doing 'Heavy Metal'

I am sad to tell you that Guillermo del Toro will not be directing any segment for the upcoming film 'Heavy Metal'. It seems everyone would like him to do one but it won't happen. He recently sent CHUD an E-mail saying:

No Heavy Metal for me.

So I guess that pretty much says it all. I totally understand though, I mean the guy is going to be very busy for a long time.
