Sundance Film Trailer: THE INFORMERS - Unrated

Venkman Here with another movie trailer for a movie premiering at the Sundance Film Festival this year. This is yet another movie we hope to see while we are up in Park City, UT. The movie is called 'The Informers' and it stars Billy Bob Thornton, Winona Ryder, Kim Basinger, Mickey Rourke, Austin Nichols, Amber Heard, and Brad Renfro who passed away early last year. The movie is based on a Novel by Bret Easton Ellis and he actually is the one that made his own book into a movie. 'The Informers' takes us back to the Los Angeles of the early 1980’s with a multi-strand narrative that deftly balances a vast array of characters who represent both the top of the heap (a Hollywood dream merchant, a dissolute rock star, an aging newscaster) and the bottom (a voyeuristic doorman, an amoral ex-con). Connecting all his intertwining strands are the quintessential Ellis protagonists—a group of beautiful, blonde young men and women who sleep all day and party all night, doing drugs—and one another—with abandon, never realizing that they are dancing on the edge of a volcano.

One of my favorite things to do is to dance on the edge of a volcano in the 1980's. This movie looks really interesting. Check out the trailer below and just so you know There are boobies in it.
