2012 Footage minus the Special Effects equals Hilarious!

Cusack-2012

So We Warned You About This 2012 Footage they showed at Comic-Con, that was finally widely released last week. With over 4,000 comments and counting ripping the 5 minutes of footage apart for it's ludicrous action sequences, someone has gone through and edited out all of the special effects.

What are you left with? You have John Cusack, Amanda Peet and Thomas McCarthy looking like they're on The Simpsons ride at Universal. It's just the one shot of them shaking around a vehicle on a sound stage! I can just imagine Roland Emmerich yelling at his actors:

"More 2012! The numbers are attacking you! The calender is giving you paper cuts! The aliens are... I mean global warming is... I mean, the inside of the earth is melting! Yeah, that's it."

Check out the edited version of the 2012 footage, which only clocks in at 1:26 now, and let us know what you think!

If you wanna see how a car scene should be done(not just intercutting effects shots), check out this one-shot scene from Alfonso Cauron's Children of Men below(Contains MAJOR spoiler of you haven't seen the film).
