ME AND ORSON WELLES Theatrical Trailer

Me-And-Orson-Welles-Poster

Here's the full trailer for the coming-of-age story  Me and Orson Welles, directed by Richard Linklater(School of Rock/Before Sunset), and starring Zac Efron, Claire Danes, and Christian McKay.

Based on Robert Kaplow's novel, and adapted by Holly Gent Palmo, Me and Orson Welles is set in 1937 New York, and centers on a high school student (Efron) who happens upon the yet-to-open Mercury Theater and is noticed by its mercurial founder, Orson Welles(McKay). The 17 year-old lands a part in “Julius Caesar,” the production that catapulted Welles to the top, and spends the next week learning about life and love.

This trailer feels a little less fun than the teaser trailer, but it showcases the film's more dramatic elements. I'm really looking forward to seeing this film. Say what you will about Efron, the movie looks like it's gonna be amazing. The tone, the comedic elements, it's looking great.

Check out the trailer and let us know what you think!

Me And Orson Welles hits theaters November 25th.
