Ryan Reynolds and Anna Faris teaming back up for TMI

Ryan Reynolds and Anna Faris will be teaming up once again for TMI, the comedy vehicle that has just been acquired by Universal Pictures.

Faris' House Bunny scribe Kirsten Smith(The Ugly Truth/Legally Blonde) and Marc Klein(Serendipity) will pen the script for TMI, with the comic premise being that while honesty is the best policy for a relationship, "too much information" might not be the best thing. Isn't that what TMI already means in the first place??? Can I pitch a comedy called WTF? The premise is, what the... you get what I'm saying!

Reynolds will executive produce TMI, with his Dark Trick Films partner Jonathon Komack Martin producing, along with Andrew Panay(Wedding Crashers/Old Dogs), who also produced Reynolds in Van Wilder.

TMI is a possible candidate to follow Reynolds' upcoming role as Hal Jordan, in the Martin Campbell-directed Green Lantern.

Reynolds and Faris appeared together twice in 2005, playing former lovers and lovers in the comedies Waiting... and Just Friends, respectively. I think they make a great comedic duo, despite what little we're given about the plot. Considering the stars' familiarity with the people behind the camera, it should be a well tuned flick, which plays to all of their strengths.

What do you think of Reynolds and Faris in TMI?
