Neve Campbell recently did an interview with Black Book Magazine in which she confirms that Scream IV will start production in April 2010, and that Wes Craven is returning to direct it! In Campbell's own words:

I’m pretty sure at this stage that Wes [Craven] is back on board to direct and Kevin [Willamson] is definitely writing it...so it is going to be great.

Bloody-Disgusting sources say that this is a confirmed deal. With most of the original team back on board the franchise I can't help but be  a little giddy. I think the first Scream Trilogy was great and I am getting excited for what will be done in the franchise this next time a round.

Campbell is reprising her role in the film as Sidney Prescott, along with David Arquette, Courteney Cox and a whole new group of characters that will get killed off. Will Sidney meet that same fate that Drew Barrymore did in the first film? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

There's a whole new set of rules that one must follow to survive a horror movie these days. And as we all know, rules are meant to broken.

What do you think some of these new rules should be?
