True Blood Season 3 is still bringing on more names to their already powerful roster. This time around we have "How I Met Your Mother" star Joe Manganiello who will have a recurring role as Alcide, the alpha male werewolf who is described as "hot and sexy". Also coming in to the fold are Cooper Huckabee who will play Sam's (Sam Trammell) dad Joe Lee Mickens, J. Smith-Cameron as Sam's estranged mother Melinda Mickens and Alfre Woodardas Lafayette's mom(Nelsan Ellis).

Alan Balland HBO have really stepped it up a notch on Season 3, both the budget and cast are growing! It's getting good people!
