A second full trailer for the Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) produced film, Black Lightning, popped up online recently. The movie looks like it will be a lot of fun to watch. Bekmambetov described the film as being the Russian response to Transformers and Batman.
The movie is about a student from Moscow University who becomes the owner of an ordinary looking car. He finds out that the car is able to fly, and unexpectedly finds himself in a role as a defender of the city against evil doers.
The film was made on a budget of only $8 million dollars and it looks pretty damn good. It looks like it had the budget of at least $30 million. The trailer is in Russian, but you’ll get the idea, there is a translation below.
The new trailer takes a better look at the boy girl relationships in the story. If you missed the first trailer, Click Hereto check it out.
