Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz's KNIGHT AND DAY Teaser Trailer and Poster

If you've read this far, I'm assuming you at least glanced at the poster for Knight and Day, the newest thriller starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. I'm digging the Bond vibe this poster is throwing out.

Here's the teaser trailer for the flick, which I think shows a great deal of promise (you know, when it comes to typical action comedies). I'm definitely looking forward to this film. Directed by Walk the Line and 3:10 to Yuma helmer James Mangold, Knight and Day follows a fugitive couple who can't even be sure they can trust each other as they race across the globe in a daring adventure.

Cruise looks like he's having a lot of fun here, and that aspect is a huge factor in how much I ultimately enjoy his performances. He seems to be channeling Mel Gibson's Martin Riggs (from Lethal Weapon), especially in the scene on the hood of the car. There's also a tinge of True Lies near the end here, so I'm on board for this one. Looks like a better version of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Knight and Day hits theaters on July 2nd, 2010.
