The Android Phone - You Will Be Assimilated

So maybe it can't turn your enemies into dust with it's plasma rays or make you a cup of coffee in the morning, but that's pretty much the only limitations to this uber smartphone, the HTC Droid Eris.

Android phones are like tech cupcakes fresh out of the oven, as they just came out onto the market last month. Yet surprisingly that's not the only relation they have to cupcakes. The Eris operates on the Cupcake release of the Android OS (Vers. 1.5) and there's even a projected update in 2010 to 2.0, the same version that it's brother uses, the younger and more advanced, MOTO Droid.

I was lucky enough to wander into Verizon during a really good sale, snatched up the Eris in my hands, and recorded a sneak peak unboxing for you to feast your eyes upon the cupcakes.

Enjoy!

A more in-depth review in the near future!
