Kenneth Branagh Thinking ahead to tie in THOR with IRON MAN 2 and Other Marvel Films

by Joey Paur

As you know the internet has gone crazy about the most recent casting rumors floating around for 'Marvels' Thor movie. Kenneth Branagh has been out having lunch with potential cast members of the film and has obviously been a part of several meetings with Marvel on how 'Thor' is going to be brought to life on the big screen. Marvel's Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada recently spoke about what is going on in Branagh's head.

"There's continuity within the movies and he really wanted to play within that and wanted it to be part of the other movies."

I always assumed that Thor would have to be a part of this Marvel movie universe, and tie in with the other films, just like Captain America ties in with both 'Iron Man' and 'The Incredible Hulk'. I also will say that I think Thor made himself known in he Incredible Hulk film as well even though people disagree with me on that point. But I'm a geek and I have my theories. Quesada has expressed that Marvel Universe architect Brian Bendis has confidence in this Thor film. He also says:

"He was really, really loving the interconnectivity between all of these characters, and even thinking ahead as to how does ‘Thor' interrelate with the ‘Iron Man' movies. How will he interrelate with the Avengers movies, and how do we set these things up."

I have complete faith in Branagh on this 'Thor' project. I think he is going to give us something truly amazing to watch. What say you?
