Incredible Looking G.I. JOE Animated Movie!
I don't think the live-action 'G.I. Joe' movie is going to end up half as good as this incredible looking animated movie/series that is going to air on Cartoon Networks Adult Swim. This thing animated series look freakin incredible! Stephen Sommer's wishes he could have created a G.I. Joe Movie that looks so cool and so entertaining.
The animated production is called 'G.I. Joe: Resolute The Movie' it started out as being 10 five-minute webisodes that would be capped off by a 10 minute finale that would be shown on Hasbro's G.I. Joe website. But now Cartoon Network's Adult Swim will show the entire hour-long on April 24th.
The story is written by noted comic book author Warren Ellis, produced by Sam Register and directed by Joaquim De Santos. Character designs are by comic book artist Dave Johnson. Their approach to the project is that of a PG-13 cartoon.
I can't wait to watch this thing! It looks great! I hope they turn it into a actual series!
