You lie poster, you lie.

The June 25th, 2010 release of Seth Rogen's adaptation of The Green Hornet is being pushed back two weeks to July 9th. The studio made the move for the upcoming comedy Grown Ups, starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Chris Rock, which was moved from March 12 to June 25, 2010.

The Green Hornet is being directed by Michel Gondry(Eternal Sunshine, Be Kind Rewind), and will star Seth Rogen as the Green Hornet, and Stephen Chow as his sidekick Kato. Rogen again teamed up with his Superbad and Pineapple Express writing partner, and childhood friend Evan Goldberg, to pen the screenplay.

Rogen has noticeably lost weight in order to play the role. The Green Hornet was originally a Radio Show that followed the adventures of Britt Reid, a bored playboy whose life is changed when he inherits his father's crusading newspaper, The Daily Sentinel. He saves the life of Kato, a Japanese man with incredible technical and martial-arts skills, who becomes Britt's closest ally. But it was the 1966 television series that starred Bruce Lee as Kato, which most people are familiar.
