TWILIGHT's 3rd saga 'ECLIPSE' will begin filming in August

Well apparently it's not just the real Vampires who don't get any rest, the actors who play them will be equally busy. With the sequel to the highly successful Twilight movie ready for it's November 20th release, New Moon is sure to take over the box-office, and cause a ruckus at this year's Comic-Con.

So prepare for the shrieking, because they just announced over at Production Weekly that they will begin filming the third installment of the Twilight franchise Eclipse, in Vancouver this August. Lead actress Kristen Stewart will have had no break, going straight from New Moon into playing Joan Jett in the biopic The Runaways, and will go right back into the Twilight world with Eclipse.



For those of you unfamiliar with the books, which includes myself, Eclipse finds Bella and Edward teaming up with the werewolf pack (led by Jacob) to fight off the Newborns, a group of particularly vicious vampires.

Eclipse is being directed by 30 Days of Night director David Slade. So hopefully he'll bring that scary bad ass element to the vampires of Twilight, and then there might be something for the guys to enjoy! He also directed the great mind eff of a film Hard Candy with Ellen Page. So we know he can handle adding some depth to the female characters as well.
