DEFENDOR clip - Harrelson's Sturdy Weapon

Check out the first clip to surface from the superhero themed dramedy Defendor. Written and directed by Peter Stebbings, Defendor stars Woody Harrelson as an everyday guy who comes to believe he’s a superhero. In the brief clip we find Harrelson's character being questioned by the police after he accidentally takes down an undercover cop.

After seeing the Photos we posted, I was already on board for this dark comedy which also stars Kat Dennings and Sandra Oh. But after watching this clip I'm even more excited. This looks like an interesting and funny performance that Woody really sunk his teeth into.

Reality intersects with delusion in the mind of Arthur Poppington (Harrelson), a regular man who adopts a superhero persona known as Defendor, and combs the city streets at night in search of his arch-enemy, Captain Industry. In his attempts to combat crime and bring down Captain Industry, a drug and weapons dealer who he mistakenly blames for the death of his mother, Defendor ends up befriending a young prostitute, Katerina Debrofkowitz (Dennings). Armed with unconventional weapons of mass confusion, aided by his new friend, and putting his life on the line, Defendor proves that everyone is capable of making a difference.
