Another comic book has been picked up for a big screen adaptation. Mandeville Films and Top Cow Productions are the studios responsible for bringing Top Cow's comic book Alibi to life. The story was created by Top Cow president Matt Hawkins and Michael Renegar, and was written by Joshua Hale Fialkov and illustrated by Jeremy Haun.

The story centers on a well-known socialite whose public presence establishes a perfect alibi for the covert activity of his secret twin brother, a government assassin.

They are hoping that this film turns out to be as big as of a success as Wanted, which was also a Top Cow title. I haven't read this comic yet though but here is what  producer David Hoberman says:

What I love about 'Alibi' is the great synthesis between the paranoia of 'Three Days of the Condor' with the action of the Jason Bourne movies.

If it turns out being anything like they are hoping it does, it should end up being a good action flick. Also producing the film is Todd Lieberman and Marc Silvestri.
