Peter Jackson's THE LOVELY BONES Trailer Ad

I have been waiting to see footage from this film since I first heard it was announced, and today I can bring you 30 seconds of footage from Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones. This footage is a preview of the trailer that is supposed to premier tonight on Entertainment Tonight, straight with the annoying editing and voice over which pretty much ends up ruining the whole trailer experience. In fact ET takes the opportunity during this little preview to proceed to tell us why they are number one, maybe the number one most annoying entertainment news show on TV.

I read the novel that the film is based off of and as great as the story was it was also extremely sad. Saoirse Ronan plays Susie Salmon, a young girl murdered by her neighbor played by Stanley Tucci, who watches her killer and grieving family from heaven. In this little 30 second spot you'll see Mark Wahlberg as Susie's father, Rachel Weisz as her mother, Susan Sarandon as her grandmother and Rose McIver as her sister.

Visually, the movie looks great! I was wondering how Jackson would create the heaven atmosphere, and it looks like he has done a great job. I can't wait to see a real trailer for it. Check out the trailer preview below and give us your thoughts.
