The Simpsons

It's hard to believe that The Simpsons has been going strong on the Fox network for 21 years! I was raised on this show for crying out loud! I started watching The Simpsons when I was 10 years old! Yikes! That just doesn't seem possible.

Well this season we have some great talent coming on board which includes, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Anne Hathaway, Jackie Mason, Neve Campbell, Coldplay's Chris Martin, Sarah Silverman, football greats Eli Manning and Peyton Manning, sportscaster Bob Costas, UFC champion Chuck Liddell, Angela Bassett,  and the late Eartha Kitt are among the guest voices on the upcoming 21st season of  The Simpsons.

Here are a couple of the episode descriptions, one of which Seth Rogan co-wrote:

In Homer The Whopper, the season premiere episode co-written by Seth Rogen airing Sunday, Sept. 27, "Comic Book Guy" casts "Homer" as the lead in "Everyman," a feature film based on the new comic book superhero he created. To whip Homer into superhero shape, the movie studio hires celebrity fitness trainer "Lyle McCarthy" (guest voice Rogen), but Homer has trouble sticking to his new healthy regimen.

Jonah Hill guest-voices as "Andy," a former Springfield Elementary student hailed as the best prankster ever in the upcoming episode, "Pranks and Greens." Neve Campbell plays "Cassandra," a Wiccan accused of blinding the town with a spell (a la "The Craft") in "Rednecks and Broomsticks." Jackie Mason returns as Rabbi Krustofsky, Krusty the Clown's father, in "Once Upon a Time in Springfield," in which Krusty ends up falling in love with the actress who plays "Princess Penelope" (guest star Anne Hathaway), a new character on his show. The late Eartha Kitt also lends her voice talents to the episode.

Another cool thing that Fox is doing is paying "homarge" to "The Simpsons" with a week-long on-air scavenger hunt this November in celebration of the series' "Best. 20 Years. Ever."

Beginning Monday, Nov. 9 and continuing through Sunday, Nov. 15, fans can watch Fox to find "Simpsons" tributes and clues featured in primetime programming and in on-air promos. Participating series in the week-long tribute to "The Simpsons" include "House," "Lie to Me," "So You Think You Can Dance," "Bones," "Fringe," "Brothers," "'Til Death" and "Dollhouse." Viewers who spot "The Simpsons" clues can log on to fox.com for an opportunity to win daily prizes and to enter to win an ultimate grand prize.

Can't wait for season 21 of The Simpsons!
