We can now put all the rumors aside. Over two-and-a-half weeks ago we reported that UFC Fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson would be playing B.A Baracus in the new A-Team movie. No one else bit and Jackson's manager would later deny his involvement in the film. Ouch, that hurt! Especially since the fan response was overwhelmingly positive.

Hate to say 'I told you so,' but now THR reports that YES, he will be putting on the mohawk and chains, taking on the role originated by Mr. T.

Jackson's name has been floating around the iconic role for a good year now. He beat out a slew of other mentions including Common and 50 Cent, who tested for the role of the ill tempered mechanic.

Jackson joins Liam Neeson as Col. John “Hannibal” Smith and Bradley Cooper(The Hangover) as Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck. The role of Howling Mad Murdock is still to be cast.

The A-Team is being produced by Ridley and Tony Scott. Joe Carnahan who made Smokin’ Aces, is directing the movie. Shooting begins in Vancouver in the fall.

So again, what do you think of mixed martial artist turned actor Quinton "Rampage" Jackson taking on the role of B.A Baracus?
