Whether you want to share your communal love in your Christian belief, or want to tell the person in front of you to get out of the way, a car horn can express a myriad of emotions. However, none are so popular as the, “You look sexy in that mini skirt, let’s hook up” honk.
Honking is used almost ritualistically on streets throughout the world in order to get the attention of attractive women. It often involves men rolling down their windows, hooping and hollering while they allow the car horn to blare obnoxiously. The success rate on this tactic has not been recorded, but chances are, it would be categorized as “Least Effective.” However, there is hope for you men out there who can’t help but show appreciation for beauty without using the horn. It is in the new concept car created by Nissan and Hara Designs.
The car is made from a material called ROICA, which can stretch anywhere from 500% to 900%. It has a friendly smile on the bumper that to me just says, “Let’s be friends.” While the car was designed to communicate with other drivers on the road, and indicate right of way, there is vast penitential for a new type of pickup never thought possible before.
Imagine driving down the road. You see a girl you find attractive. You honk your horn scaring the bejesus out of her. As she turns to make an obscene gesture at you, she notices the affable smile greeting her from your car bumper. “Awe, that is so cute,” she exclaims with a sigh. “Here let me give you my number.”
Now the car isn’t the only one smiling, and you have successfully managed to pick up a girl using a tactic that, in the past, had proved worthless. Thank you Nissan. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
