SAG Award Results

Movie Winners by Ben Pearson

Many people think awards shows are just an endless circle of Hollywood glad-handing and back-patting. That may be the case (just look at the sheer number of award shows out there - are ALL of them necessary?), but some of these awards still hold a certain level of respect among the community.

If I were an actor, winning a SAG award would certainly be a legitimate validation of my hard work. After all, the SAG awards are chosen from the members of the Screen Actors Guild themselves. In any industry, being recognized by your peers is one of the most satisfying forms of approval. All right, enough legitimizing another awards show.
