Movie by Joey Paur

As you know the award season is getting ready to blow up.  Everyone is giving their best of lists, and nominations from different type of award ceremonies are popping up left and right. Among them is the Producers Guild of America who announced their annual nominees today.

It's great to see that the Science Fiction genre got some solid recognition this year on the list as films like Avatar, District 9 and Star Trek are all included on the list of nominees. Avatar seems to be making everyone's nominee list this year though.

So! Here is the list of nominees:

Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award:

An Education - Producers: Finola Dwyer, Amanda Posey

My one question is where in the hell is the nominee for Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs!? That was one of my favorite animated movies this year, it could have easily replaced 9 which was heavy on action but lacked in story.
