WOLVERINE 2 Will Start Shooting in 2011

According to actor Hugh Jackman, who has played the live-action Wolverine four times since first putting on the claws in X-Men in 2000, the sequel to his Wolverine film will start shooting sometime in 2011. In a backstage interview at the People's Choice Awards here is what he had to say,

Wolverine's going to be back. He's going to Japan. We shoot that probably in a year, year-and-a-half, something like that.

If the film is going to shoot in 2011, I guess we can expect the movie to be released sometime in 2012. 

I wasn't a very big fan of the X-Men Origins: Wolverine film. It was a big budget action film, but I couldn't see where all that money went. The special effects were awful, the story sucked, and they messed up one of my favorite comic book characters, Deadpool. 

I hope the sequel ends up being much better. I absolutely love the story line of Wolverine going to Japan, I just hope they make a much better quality film this next time around.
