Batman 3 will be Called THE DARK KNIGHT RISES and The Riddler Will Not be the Villain

Director Christopher Nolan recently revealed in an interview that the title for the long awaited third Batman film will be The Dark Knight Rises! He also went on to discuss villain's and characters.

One big question on everyone's mind was will the villain be The Riddler? This seems like the villain all of the fans wanted to see up on the big screen, but according to Nolan it's not going to happen. He told the LA Times that “It won’t be the Riddler,” Which kills all of those rumors. He went on to say, “We’ll use many of the same characters as we have all along, and we’ll be introducing some new ones.” That's a pretty broad statement.

You will also be happy to hear that thankfully The Dark Knight Rises will not be in 3D, Nolan was able to convince Warner Bros. to just go with IMAX, which is the right choice. In a world where 3D filmmaking is taking over, Nolan's Batman doesn't need it. 

I can't wait to see what new characters pop up in this film. I'm a little bummed that The Riddler won't be in the movie, but I trust that Nolan is going to give us something awesomely special. There is still the rumor that Killer Croc could be the villain which could be cool.
