CONAN Gets a Release Date

For those of you who are interested, Lionsgate will release Marcus Nispel's reimagining of Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarian on August 19th 2011. 

The film will be released against a two other movies, Fright Night 3D and Robert Rodriguez's Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World. So it looks like I'll be going to see Fright Night that weekend. 

I'm not really excited for this Conan movie. I hope it turns out to be good, but I'm just not sold on the actor playing Conan, Jason Momoa. The film also stars Rachel Nichols, Stephen Lang, Ron Perlman, Said Taghmaoui and Rose McGowan.
