Emma Stone Confirms She Is Not Starring In 21 JUMP STREET

Emma Stone confirmed in a recent interview with MTV, that she will not appear in the film adaptation of the 21 Jump Street TV series.

In the interview Stone stated:

“I don’t think I’m going to be part of that, but Jonah is one of my favorite people in the entire world.”

She had been in contention to play the lead female role, but had to back out because of her involvement in Marc Webb’s Spider-Man reboot.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller will co-direct the film starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. Hill is also executive producing.

Emma Stone will begin shooting next month for a July 3, 2012 release of the yet to be titled Spider-Man reboot. I think that this is a smart movie to stay away from. I love Jonah Hill as well. but I am very worried about Channing Tatum's involvement. What are your thoughts?
