Tom Hardy Offered Role In ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER

Movie by

Tom Hardy has just been offered the role of "Henry Sturgess" in Timur Bekmambetov's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter according to BloodyDisgusting.  Hardy is an extremely versatile actor.  His performances in Inception and Bronson were outstanding.  If you have not seen Bronson, it is well worth a viewing on DVD.  He was not listed as one of Variety's Top Ten Actors To Watch in 2009 for nothing.

The film is based on Seth Grahame-Smith's historical horror novel.  The book tells the story of Abraham Lincoln as a vampire hunter out for vengeance after his mother was killed when he was a child.  It looks as if this Tim Burton produced Twentieth Century Fox horror adventure is right on track for June, 2012.

The key to this film's greatness will be the casting of the title role, but as of right now there is no word on who is being considered for Lincoln.  Who would you like to see round out this cast?
