Awesome TRON Inspired Posters from Mondo Tees!
Tron: Legacy is about to be unleashed on the world Thursday at midnight... are you ready!? I think your going to love it, and I can't wait to see it again. In celebration of the films release Mondo Tees has created two Tron posters. One print takes us back to 1982's original Tron film, the second print was inspired by the most recent Tron: Legacy movie that you're about to see. Oh! And the Posters glow in the dark!
Here's what the artist Eric Tan had to say about the prints:
When creating posters for each of the ‘Tron’ films, what immediately came to mind were the parallels between the two worlds and how it had progressed over the years. Since similar elements such as disks, light cycles, and recognizers exist in both, I thought showing the contrast between new and old was a visually interesting angle to play up.
Linking the two main characters was something I thought would add to the storytelling and the father/son dynamic between Kevin and Sam Flynn. To me, those films are amazing examples of visual ‘candy,’ and I hope I was able to capture that in my posters.
