47 RONIN To Be Produced And Directed In 3D

It has been announced that 47 Ronin directed by Carl Rinsch starring Keanu Reeves will be produced and released in 3D.

47 Ronin is shaping up to be awesome.  It is an epic period film based on the true tale of a band of samurai swordsmen who avenged the death of their master in 18th century Japan. It will be a stylized retelling of this classic story and will mix both fantasy with gritty battle scenes.  Think The Lord of the Rings films meets Gladiator.

Reeves stars as one of the swordsmen; the group and their master are revered in Japan for their revenge attack on Dec. 14, 1702.
