Disney World Monorails get TRON LEGACY Light-Cycle Makeovers

Photos Tron: Legacy by Eli Reyes

Earlier this month we reported that along with the CGI Animated Series and Sequels that Disney has planned for their high-tech 3D adventure Tron Legacy, Disney was also planning to give sections of their theme parks Tron facelifts.

Though an original Tron attraction/ride won't hit the theme parks until at least 2012, provided the film does well (it will), we thought we'd have to wait until October or November to at least see the park facelifts. Wrong! As early as this month, Walt Disney World Resort will be rolling out their Monorails that have been transformed to feature the iconic and upgraded Light-Cycles on the sides, and will be visible on the Epcot monorail line.

Here's a couple photos that Disney Parks released that show just what the transformed monorails will look like. You can see in features the Light-Cycles and their trail of Amber and Blue walls of light that will send you careening to your demise... then again, it's just a game right? "Not anymore."

You can see the Light-Cycles in action at the end of the breathtaking New Trailer, and in the Test-Footage.

This is pretty awesome, I wonder what kind of Tron promotions and transformations they'll be doing to Disneyland here in Southern California.
